Kate’s Real Foods is Session Sponsor
We welcome Kate’s Real Food, maker of delicious, organic, and gluten free trail bars, as a new Session Sponsor.
A skier, biker, and entrepreneur, Kate Schade founded the company while living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and now runs her growing operation from Victor, Idaho, and soon from a new facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
She started with the Tram Bar, a delicious blend of oats, peanut butter, chocolate, and other simple ingredients. much more. Now Kate’s features six varieties, including bars with mango, lemon, and coconut. All are organic, non GMO, gluten free, and easy to handle in cold and hot weather. They will become Summit saddlebag favorites, for sure.
We love that Schade is extending her message and brand to our horse-loving audience. While she rides bikes more than horses, she appreciates the need to share the trail with all kinds of recreationalists.
“While I live in a beautiful place to go horseback riding, I do not ride. I do, however, like to promote multi-use of trails since there are so many ways to enjoy nature, and so many types of people out there who like to in their own different ways,” said Schade. “That being said, all users need to be educated and respectful of others. I also find that designated trails for specific user groups are also a great way to keep people happy.”
We agree.
