Welcome CHEI and HWH
The Best Horse Practices Summit is thrilled to welcome two additional sponsors, both from the great state of Maine:
Camden Hills Equine Inn and Horses With Hope have stepped up to support our conference.
CHEI is a horse hotel run by Krystal Coombs of Lincolnville. She welcomes all riders and has easy access to Camden Hill State Park and scores of miles of trails.
Watch this NewsCenter video of Coombs and her offerings.
Consider extending your Maine stay with a visit to CHEI. It’s BYOH (“Bring Your Own Horse”) Check out boarding options here.
Horses with Hope is a unique rescue operation located in Hope, Maine. “Helping rescued horses find their human soul mates,” HWH puts a top priority on preparing horses for successful adoptions by emphasizing training and with work from the ground up, regardless of a horse’s past. HWH also reviews potential adopters in order to best match horse and rider vis a vis ability and temperament.
Check out HWH success stories, read about its use of obstacles in training, and read the HWH blog here.

Thank you to Tet, Mike, and all the HWH folks! The MSSPA gives a shout out to our friends and colleagues in Hope. Our shared goals and efforts have produced the right home for so many right horses. Hooray for the Best Horse Practices Summit!
Brilliant to see, I visited Horses With Hope every year, and got to know the team there well, a lot of time, patience and skill is put into making every horse that enters their farm a truly trusting and forever horse for the many lucky humans who have went on to adopt a horse through them. It is a great team effort from all the staff and owners, not to mention its heaven on earth for the horses.
